1st day: Trip by bus

Our trip started on Sunday 29th of March. We met in front of IES Pere Fontdevila (Our High School) and we left Gironella. We went by bus called “Vip Bus”. The trip started at five o’clock.

After two hours the bus stopped at “La Jonquera”. Two hours and a half later we had dinner in “Montpelier”. We spent all the night on the bus. We didn’t sleep there because the seats were very uncomfortable.

2nd day: Arrived in Italy

We got up at five o’clock, we were already in Italy. The weather was bad, it was foggy and rainy. We were not very happy about it.

At one o’clock we arrived in a village called Sirmione. Sirmione is next to Lake Garda. We visited the village and had lunch there. We ate pizza and ice cream. It was great!! After lunch we went to Verona.

The journey to Verona was very long. In Verona we visited “Romeo and Juliette’s house”; there was a Juliette’s statue outside the house. We touch the chest of statue because it gave you good luck. After that we visited the “Roman amphitheatre”.



In the afternoon, we arrived in Lido de Jesolo. In this village there was our hotel. We had dinner there. At night we walked next to the sea. It was twelve o’clock when we went to the bed.

3rd Day: Venecia

We got up at half past seven in the morning. We went to Venice by boat. The boat was slow. We arrived at Venice half an hour later.



First we visited “The Doge’s Palace”. After that we visited the “Piazza San Marco”. The square was very big and beautiful.
Later we went to the Rialto Bridge, it was very big and it went over the "Gran canal".



We were really hungry so we went to a restaurant for lunch. We eat macaroni, meat and ice cream. After lunch we had free time. Later we came back to the hotel by boat.
At night we went to the disco, that was a fantastic day!

4th Day: Siena

We got up early, at seven o’clock, because we had to go to Siena. On the way to Siena we watched the film ”Italian job”.
When we arrived in Siena we had lunch in a restaurant. After lunch we visited the cathedral and the “Piazza del Campo”. In this square every summer they celebrate a medieval horse race, a festival called “ The Palio”.




When we went to Montecatini it was raining. At night we played games. After that we went to the bed, but we didn’t sleep.

5th Day: Firenze.

We got up at half past seven. At ten o’clock we arrived at Firenze. First we go to “The Michelangelo’s bay window”. There we saw a fantastic view of Firenze.



After it we visited the “Ponte Vecchio”, where there were a lot of jewellery shops. Then we went to the “Piazza della Signoria” and the cathedral.
We had lunch in a big restaurant; we ate macaroni and meat, always the same!!
We had free time and we bought a lot of things. Miquel and Guillem bought a Florentine’s t-shirt for each one and Roc a superman’s t-shirt. Firenze is the most beautiful city we visited




Then we went to the hotel by bus and had dinner; after dinner we went to the disco. The disco was very bored. At twelve o’clock we went to the bedroom but we didn’t sleep because it was the last night.

6th day: San Gimignano and Pisa.

We got up early, at a quarter past seven, and then we had breakfast. First we went to San Gimignano, a beautiful village in the Toscana. There were a lot of towers and a wall.



Then we went to Pisa. When we arrived, we immediately had lunch. When we finished we had free time and we went to see the Pisa's Tower. It is very interesting because it is inclined



Finally we went to Genova and we caught the ship. The ship was very big because there were lots of people. There were a cinema, a casino, a swimming pool, shops, a big living room,… We spent a lot of time playing cards. We slept in a room with seats.

7th Day: Arrived to Barcelona.

We arrived at Barcelona at a quarter past three. We took the bus and we arrived at Gironella at five o’clock. The trip finished here. It has been a fantastic experience.
